About the CompTIA CySA+ certification
CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) is an intermediate, vendor-neutral cert for analysts who detect, prevent, and respond to threats through continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response — including the communication skills those jobs require.
Exam CS0-003 (V3) remains available in English through December 22, 2026; CompTIA has also released CySA+ V4. Confirm which version you are booking. CySA+ is commonly listed for DoD 8140/8570 analyst-category roles.
Who it’s for: SOC analysts, vulnerability-management analysts, and IT professionals moving into security operations.
